In
1967, when Wim and Fien Kusters arrived at Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère
to take on a campsite named “Le Paradis”,
it was still just a field with 7 trees. Everyone pitched
in to build the sanitary facilities. That year, Le Paradis
received 150 families throughout the entire season. It
was only in 1973 that the Kusters family obtained the
trust of a bank which allowed them to properly buy Le
Paradis and to begin work worthy of a true slice of heaven.
The stars would then begin to shine.
A

at all costs and to utilize our full potential
to participate in the conservation of an abundant
and generous planet: this is a conviction and a
state of mind shared by all and watched over on
a daily basis by each member of the family.

with green thumbs Bit by bit and seed by seed, the 100 species
and varieties of plants that illuminate the paths
of Le Paradis were selected with care to create
a true botanical garden that is a pleasure to behold. 2004
